Louis Shankar is a journalist and writer based in London. They have a background in art history ( University of Cambridge, 2016 ) and critical writing ( Royal College of Art, 2018 ). Much of their writing focuses on queer culture and identity politics; a major research area has been cultural responses to AIDS and artistic activism. They are working on a book project exploring the cultural history of cruising.
