Song Qisen is a PhD student in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Columbia University, New York. His research focuses on socialist architectural history and urban visual culture, with an emphasis on Sino-Soviet architectural exchanges and cultural influences. He received his BA with highest honours from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, in History of Art and European Studies in 2020. Song Qisen has previously held internships at Cai Guo-Qiang Studio, the Frist Art Museum and Christie’s Shanghai.

宋淇森,1998年出生于湖北武汉,现居纽约、在美国哥伦比亚大学攻读艺术史与考古专业博士学位。他的研究专注于社会主义建筑史与城市视觉文化,并着重挖掘、解读社会主义中国与苏联之间的跨国建筑交流与文化影响。他于2020年从美国范德堡大学毕业,获艺术史与欧洲研究学士学位,两篇专业毕业论文均获最高荣誉。他曾在纽约蔡国强工作室、上海佳士得与纳什维尔弗里斯特博物馆进行实习。
