Kimberlee Córdova
Kimberlee Córdova is an artist and writer, based in Mexico City. She received her BA in painting from the University of California, at Santa Barbara College of Creative Studies ( 2007 ), and is a graduate of Soma, in Mexico City ( 2014 ). Solo exhibitions include Four Candles in Four Parts, The Situation Room ( Los Angeles ); The Dodo’s Verdict, Casa Maauad ( Mexico City ); and Brief Encounters with Tezcatlipoca, Bikini Wax ( Mexico City ). Group exhibitions include Once ( 11 ), Centro de Arte Los Galpones ( Caracas ); Estudio Abierto 6: 473.85 kg, Museo de Arte, Zapopan ( Guadalajara ); El Fuego y El Borrego, Museo Ex Teresa ( Mexico City ); Fuera de Lugar, MIAMI ( Bogotá ). She is contributing editor ( Mexico City ) at Momus, and contributes to Art Agenda, ArtReview, Frieze magazine ( forthcoming ), SFMOMA’s Open Space ( forthcoming ) and San Francisco Arts Quarterly.
